How to Post to the Blog

To post your own message to the blog, rather than just comment on other people's, all you need to do is the following:

1. Sign into www.blogger.com using your Gmail account name and password.

2. Select "New Post".

3. Think of a title for your post, click on the "Title" box and type it in.

4. Click on the larger white box below the Title box and begin typing your post.

5. When you are finished, click on "Preview" (one of the blue boxes at the bottom). **IMPORTANT: This will show you how your post will look on the blog, but your post is not yet saved.**

6. Read your post over to make sure there are no mistakes. If there are mistakes, close the preview window and correct them.

(6a. [Optional] In the box in the bottom right-hand corner titled "Labels:", you can enter one-or-two-word phrases that might make the post easier to find in the future, e.g. "math" or "homework". )

7. Once you are happy with your post, click on the orange "Publish Post" button.

8. You're done! Congratulations! Click on "View Blog" in the upper-right of the screen to see how your post looks on the blog.
